Banana - Pomegranate Shake

Banana - Pomegranate Shake
Yummy and healthy combo of banana and pomegranate

This shake is the delicious milkshake, as certified my family. We all know the goodness of pomegranate, banana, milk and honey, don’t we? Any ways, let me educate you on the nutritional values of all these ingredients (even if you feel bored, he he!)

Pomegranate: Good source of fiber and Vitamin C.

Banana: Good source of energy and potassium. So it is highly recommended for patients suffering from high blood pressure. These are very useful in treating intestinal disorders like diarrhea and in constipation too.

Milk: Good source of Calcium and Vitamin C.

Honey: Contains so many nutrients and very useful for good digestion. And contains less calories when compared to sugar.

Now let's see the recipe:

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Pomegranate Seeds
  • 2 ripe Bananas
  • 2 cups Milk (I used 2% milkfat)
  • 2 tbsp Honey
Method:
  1. Add all of the above ingredients in a blender and blend into a smooth shake.
  2. Filter the contents to remove the excess pulp from the pomegranate seeds, pour into individual glasses and enjoy.
  3. This shake is suitable for any time of the day!
  4. See, it’s that easy and tastes super yummy!!

OK. Catch you all in my next post. Have a great day, friends!

I would have anything with pomegranate added to it, but this shake looks truly delicious. I should try it with soymilk or almond milk. Lovely job, Uma. And nice title!
