Minted Buttermilk (Pudina Majjiga)

This is a very simple, refreshing and healthy way to quench your thirst on a hot summer day. This is definitely pleases everyone.




Ingredients: (For 2 persons)
  • 1 cup Plain Yogurt
  • ½ cup Mint Leaves
  • 1 cup Water
  • Salt to taste
  • Some crushed Ice
Preparation:
  1. Add yogurt + mint leaves + water + salt in a blender and blend until the ingredients blend well and become smooth. Keep aside.
  2. Add crushed ice in a serving glass and pour the prepared mint buttermilk on top and enjoy. That’s it!
  3. A perfect cooling drink for a hot summer day!!

Note: This can be turned into a sweet drink by replacing salt with sugar.
