Roasted Chana Chat | Putnaala Pappu Chat
Roasted Chana Chat | Putnaala Pappu Chat | Roasted Bengal Gram Chat

This is one of our favorite evening snacks. It is so easy to prepare and tastes great with all the spiciness. It takes less than 15 minutes to prepare.

Here are the ingredients needed for this chat:

  • 1 cup Roasted Chana (Dalia) (Putnala Pappu)
  • 1 medium Onion, cut into small pieces
  • 1 medium Tomato, cut into small pieces
  • 2 or 3 finely cut Green Chilies or according to taste
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • Some finely chopped Coriander Leaves (Optional)
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Salt to taste

Let’s go to the preparation part:
  1. In a bowl mix Roasted Chana with the chopped veggies, the coriander leaves and the ghee and finally add little salt for taste.
  2. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon and mix it well. That’s it.
  3. Great smelling, great tasting chat is ready!
  4. Enjoy with tea or coffee or just like that.

Note: Red chili powder can be used instead of green chilies.
