The award states that-These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.

My Christmas Cookies and Christmas Cupcakes have won a second prize in the Santa’s Holiday Challenge which was hosted by JZ @ Tasty Treats. And JZ has mailed me this pretty gift card. The card was so cute and kept it as a keepsake. I wanted to buy something related to cooking with that card and went out to shop for some cooking books. But I couldn’t find one that I like, so thought of buying something useful for baking as these days I am getting more interest in baking. So here they are: A cookie sheet and a loaf pan. Thanks for the wonderful gift card JZ. I am glad I could participate in it!

I am passing all the above tags and the two awards to these friends listed below. I would like to say two things here: for the tags, it’s up to you; if you are not interested you may let it go or forget about the tags if you have already done these before! But I advise you to do it, it was fun!
Here is another beautiful prize (and it’s a surprise gift) I got for the fun-filled contest, “Open Sesame I” initiated by another dynamic duo Siri and Dhivya. Fortune Cooking Contest:
This wonderful contest is hosted by wonderful duo, dear Shriya and dear Nithu of Spicy Tasty, where the winners will be chosen randomly by a lucky draw at Random.org. The main rule of this contest was to pick a zodiac sign and its corresponding food item listed and whip up a delicious dish with it. I have chosen my sister’s zodiac sign (Leo) and prepared a dish with Bell Peppers. I was too lucky to be chosen randomly in a lucky draw! I am so happy for this and thank you dear Shriya and Nithu for hosting such a wonderful contest.
This is another wonderful contest under International Food League, hosted by another wonderful duo, dear DK and dear Siri, where we need to crack a riddle after choosing a box. So I have chosen Box#3, cracked the riddle and prepared Mini Millet Patties. The winner will be selected through voting. Thank you all so much for voting for me and making me win this contest. I am really blessed to have so many friends who always support me! I am really happy that I have entered this blogging world! Or else how could I make so many wonderful friends like you all? Thank you, thank you and thank you!
Last but not least, Dear Sashree of A Warm Welcome to all the Foodies, has made me happy again by passing the “Good Chat Blog Award”. Thank you so much dear Sashree for thinking about me!
And one more, I was informed by Alpesh of Linq.in that my blog has achieved the following awards:
1. Best blog of month in Recipes category for March.
2. Best blog of week in Recipes category on 03-16-2008.
Thank you for choosing my blog for this, Alpesh!

Next let me talk about the meme. I have been tagged by dear Shubha Ravikoti to write about 10 things I hate. It is easy to write about 10 things I like, but 10 things I hate, has put me into test. So I sharpened by brain a little bit and finally came up with these things. Have fun reading. Thanks for the tag, Shubha! That was fun.
That’s all to it. No more I think! Hope you enjoyed reading it. I don’t want to tag anyone specifically. Anyone who is interested to do this meme can take up this. It’s up to you! But, believe me, it was real fun doing this.
