Aromatic and Yummy Tea |
Cloves are an important ingredient in many spice blends of India. They are used mostly in garam masalas, biryanis and pickles. There are so many health benefits of cloves. They relieve tooth pain, helps to control vomiting etc. Cloves are very helpful for getting rid of indigestion too. Cloves keep food fresh.
Here is my version of clove tea done easily in microwave.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Milk
- 2 tsp Tea Powder
- ½ tsp Cardamom Seeds
- 10 or 12 whole cloves, ground into fine powder
- 3 tsp Sugar
Preparation:
- In a microwave safe glass jug (I used a pitcher) add all the above ingredients and mix well with a spoon.
- Place the jug in the microwave and heat for 6 to 7 minutes or until the tea begins to boil. Then stop the microwave.
- Take
it out from the microwave and filter using a strainer.
- Pour into
individual cups and enjoy hot tea with crackers or cookies of your
choice.
- It’s as simple as that!
