I made these several times and every time I got them perfect. Of course, they won't taste like deep fried ones, but still they tasted great. <br /><br />Try replacing baking powder with 1/4 tsp of baking soda for 1 cup besan, it gives the pakodas a very crunchy texture. You may also replace butter with equal amount of olive oil. I tried this too and got crunchy and yummy pakodas. <br /><br />The recipe I posted is suitable for 2 persons.
