Instant Bread Sticks |
This is a very quick snack which is delicious and low-fat with minimal ingredients. This is a perfect and easy snack for the lazy evenings.
Let's see the recipe:
Ingredients:
- 4 Bread Slices
- 1 cup Chickpea Flour (శనగపిండి, Besan)
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- Buttermilk or Water, as needed to mix the batter
- Salt to taste
- Oil
Preparation:
- Add chili powder and salt to chickpea flour and make thin batter by adding buttermilk or water. Keep aside.
- Heat a non-stick pan. Cut each bread slice into 4 pieces lengthwise.
- Dip
each piece into the prepared batter and arrange them on the pan side by
side. Pour little oil around each piece and let it cook.
- When
cooked on one side, flip the pieces so that other side is cooked as
well. When done, remove them from the pan and transfer to a serving
plate.
- Repeat the same process with rest of the pieces.
